Purpose
This is a topic I've been thinking a lot about over the last while.
What is my purpose?
I got asked why I got into coaching during a training I was delivering inside another coaching group this week and the answer came to me immediately.
When I first got a coach, it was because I knew I was capable of more than what I was doing and needed guidance on how to get to the next level.
I won't have been the only person who feels like this, or the last.
From there my mission has grown into something bigger - reducing the number of "what if's".
There'll come a point in the future when you reflect and wonder what could've been.
I'm reducing the amount of these moments by preempting what future me will want to have accomplished.

6 From 6
This is the first week in probably a couple of months where I've managed to complete all 6 of my planned training sessions.
Not only that but I managed to do them with intent.
Knowing that I have a photoshoot and Hyrox coming up means there's nowhere to hide from a physique and performance point of view.
Running felt good on the legs despite a higher heart rate than expected.
Getting a cold dip in post-run aided recovery and felt great for the mind too.
3 Learnings
Your Home
I've been beginning to take more pride and care in my home.
We've been here 2 years and it now feels like an appropriate time to make small changes, touching up bits and clearing out clothes etc.
Kitchen Life Hack
I've got to thank Aimee for this but getting containers for our pasta, rice, oats and the like has been a game changer. Opening up to an organised cupboard just feels great for the mind.
In the fridge, we've got a container for berries so we're not taking up space with lots of plastic packaging.
It's aesthetically pleasing and makes you want to eat better on the whole.
Moral of the story - get containers and ditch the packaging.
Weekend Planning
We made a simple change to our weekend which has gave us so much more bandwidth.
Going shopping on Saturday rather than Sunday.
It gets it done and out of the way.
Plus, Aldi opens earlier on Saturday so you can enjoy more time the rest of the day.
You've got more time to enjoy the weekend and plan for the upcoming week ahead.
I put the Ben Lomond climb on hold. I've not decided on a new date yet however, I will be doing it before the end of the summer.
