It was my birthday this weekend so I thought I'd share some of the biggest lessons I've learned so far.
- Stack Ws in the morning.
- Your confidence is your reputation with yourself.
- Invest in yourself and implement positive change.
- Don't settle for average.
- Define your own version of success based on your value and beliefs.
- Fitness is the gateway drug to personal development.
- Spending time by myself allowed me to discover who I am and who I want to be.
- Always communicate your feelings in a respectful manner.
- Work on developing empathy to better understand the world.
- Getting into the shape of your life once is the foundation for a sustainable lifestyle and body.
- Spend more time with family.
- Identity fluctuates and changes - not knowing who you are is okay. You don't have to know all the answers.
- When faced with big decisions ask yourself if you'll be happy with your choice in 1,5,10 and 15 years.
- Write a lot of the "what ifs". The stuff you don't want to regret in years to come. Start working towards ticking them off.
- Stand out from the crowd and celebrate your uniqueness.
- Cutting out alcohol for 3-6 months is the ultimate productivity and lifestyle hack. Watch your mind become clearer and clearer
- Surrounding yourself with like-minded people will elevate in areas of life.
- Learn from your own mistakes first then learn from the mistakes of others.
- Get comfortable being uncomfortable.
- Train your body like you would train your mind
- Friendships that last are built on trust and respect for one another. You might not be in contact with one another constantly but the trust and respect keeps you together
- Don't sleep with your phone in your room.
- Your media diet is as important as the food you eat. Step out of your echo chamber
- Delay your gratification by doing the hard work right now.
- Normal is another word for average in statistics. If you don't want to be average don't be normal.
- Always ask questions.
Have a great week everyone!
